Cake cake cake!

Last week was my birthday and I wanted to share this beautiful (and funny) cake my friends made for me.  I'm incredibly lucky to have such awesome friends and family in my life!

Giant Guinea Pigs and Hiking

I think I saw the biggest guinea pig known to man last weekend at Petsmart in Bellevue.  Seriously, compare it to the size of what I believe is a normal sized guinea pig castle/house.  I really just wanted to give it a hug.

In other news, I went hiking for the first time ever with Jeff and some friends last weekend.  I'm not an outdoorsy person whatsoever, so this was a big deal.  Thankfully, my friends planned a short and easy hike so I wouldn't be too overwhelmed.  I saw some nature (including a big slug), didn't die, and had a nice time.  I might be encouraged to do it again sometime.
