Toxic Tang

Our New Years tradition involves friends, food and drink, and board games.  For this year's beverage treat, Jeff mixed up a pitcher of Toxic Tang which he first discovered at a local restaurant.  If you're not put off by the toxic look of it, read on to find out how to make it.  Advance warning, we don't have it down to a science.

Ingredients:
  • Lemon-line Koolaid
  • Tang
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • 1 part rum
  • 1/2 part Midori
  • 1/2 part Malibu
We typically prepare a pitcher of Koolaid and Tang close to package directions using sugar to taste and less water than directed.  We then add the alcohol in the proportions listed above and adjust ingredients as needed.

If you want to make beverages individually, you could prepare pitchers of Koolaid and Tang separately then mix with the above proportions of alcohol in individual glasses.  As with many beverage recipes, experiment!  You never know what tasty thing you might come up with.
