This week I made a Mr. Meeseeks from one of my favorite animated shows, Rick and Morty, as a really belated birthday gift for a friend. I used this pattern by Kelley Freeman and thought it'd work up quickly and easily. Unfortunately, there were quite a few errors so I did my best to correct them (all changes can be found on my project page on Ravelry).
This also marks the first time I've used poly pellets in a project. Thankfully, I realized the pellets were small enough to fall through the spaces in my crochet and bought tulle to enclose them to avoid a mess. I also learned that I should put my tulle sachet of poly pellets into whatever I'm working on as I crochet instead of waiting until the piece is done. Live and learn, right?
Overall, Mr. Meeseeks turned out to be pretty cute... but I don't think I'd make another.
